Our primary approach to counselling is tailored to the individual and person first. We believe people have the innate ability to move towards healing when supported in a non-judgemental, authentic and empathetic relationship. Throughout therapy, you may integrate EMDR, IFS, Mindfulness, grounding, and CBT techniques when both yourself and your therapist, agree it's appropriate.
Perhaps you would like to talk with someone to understand your experiences, feelings, thoughts and behaviours, or you need to improve your distressing symptoms to better function in different areas of your life. Collaboratively, we work towards healing by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
There are a variety of ways anxiety can

Psychotherapy treatment focuses often include goals of long-term skills development for emotional regulation and reduced symptom intensity.
Trauma means different things to different people. We define trauma as an event or experience that leaves an ongoing, significant, negative emotional, mental or physical effect. Trauma can come from single events and repeated experiences.
Symptoms of trauma can range from physical symptoms like easily startling, emotional symptoms like numbness and mental symptoms like negative thinking.
Psychotherapy treatment focuses often include stabilizing symptoms, processing traumatic events (reducing the intensity of traumatic experiences) and meeting new future goals.
